On the phone she explains she used to work at Preston Castle in Ione, CA. Preston Castle has been named one of the most haunted places in America. There are twenty-three graves sites in a cemetery located near the famous haunted attraction. Most of these deaths seem to be caused by disease and nothing more. There was not a lot of violence at the Castle, it was a home for Juveniles. A place they would go instead of jail, but there was a murder of a housekeeper - Anna Corbin was found in a small closet after being bludgeoned to death and later a twenty year old man was shot and killed by guards in his third attempted escape. The young man was Samuel Goins who was buried at the cemetery and is rumored to still be seen on the grounds. The client who wishes to remain nameless, I shall call Rebecca, felt she had taken spirits home with her from the Castle. She's had many experiences at work where she was in charge of tours. But the case she needs help with now, she feels isn't a result of previous encounters at Preston. Yet, she has no ideas where they might stem from.

Asking for only psychics to attend this investigation and to complete it before her husband returns home, Paul Dale Roberts of HPI Paranormal handed me the case. Right now it's me and my psychic friend Rubbie Salinas - professional name (Rubbiz Fire). Rubbie is going to do a preliminary search of the house and make contact with anything that maybe present, so therefore I am not giving her any information about this case and she has no idea this article is currently being written. We have one more psychic that will be assigned to the case.

Rebecca reports a medium in Turlock California saw a boy with red hair, freckles, and big teeth around her and then it disappeared. Rebecca claims to have had the same experience in her home and another medium saw the boy in his home. So the boy spirit seems to travel. Besides an apparition, she's heard tapping, and caught pictures of orbs, which depending on the situation may not be paranormal at all. She also has been straddled by the spirit and her hair has been brushed. She feels as though it is getting sexual. During one experience she was able to grab what felt like wrist and then she saw a black head/shadow near her face. It also grabbed her legs and shook her hard! Before each interaction with the spirit she gets a since of dread. Rebecca is confident that this case is demonic, though I don't share the same confidence after our preliminary conversation - but I do believe her claims of a spirit invading her home.

On Friday evening January 27, 2012 we will conduction an investigation and look at her evidence while trying to collect more. I asked the client what she wanted the end result to be and she said for it to be gone, because she is scared - in her sixties sleeping with the lights on out of fear. She asked if her friends could come be observers and just watch, now its feels like she uses these spirits for entertainment. Which could explain why they won't leave even after a priest came to bless the home.

Apparently she's been getting a lot of EVPs in her home. The ones she will have me listen to on Friday are what she thinks to be voices of seven spirits, "Oh, here's that good dog." "Right." "Who?" "We can get her." and a few that sound like foreign languages.

She doesn't have a big background in paranormal investigations, never attended a seance or played with an Ouija Board. About 20 years back she met Paul at an investigation and that's how she knew to call HPI, but other than that, this is it. She's traveled the world and can't recall anything paranormal happening to her anywhere else. Sacramento does have that effect.
