Question: Please tell us something about yourself, your personal life, your hobbies, recreational activities, family life, etc.

Answer: I work as a medical language specialist and dance competitively in salsa, hustle and west coast swing with a professional partner. I’m a former professional figure skater having toured in ice shows worldwide. I ski and am learning to snowboard with the help of my friend Sam at EndlessSlope year-round ski school in Sacramento.

Question: Something happened to you in 1977 at the Iceland Rink in Del Paso?

Answer: I became acquainted with “my invisible friend” a gentleman who would appear to be observing the skaters through the glass in the coffee shop located in the arena’s lobby area. He appeared to be watching the skaters, and to be reading a newspaper at times, dressed appropriately for the arena, fedora hat, long coat…I could not distinguish facial features etc. On a few occasions I left the ice rink and went into the coffee shop but no one was there. I would talk to him and ask him…”are you here today?” I would also have a habit of doing this when I was leaving, I would simply tell him I am leaving.

A few years back I attended a memorial service for my dear friend George Sommerdorf. The food was in the location where “my invisible friend” would sit. I asked if he were there to celebrate George’s life. I didn’t want to leave him out.

Now that the rink was destroyed by fire, I hope upon the rebirth and rebuilding of the rink I will see him again.

Question: Why do you think this entity contact you, for what reason?

Answer: Maybe he sensed I was open to the experience and of sharing my love of skating with him.

Question: What are your theories on the recent fire? What do you believe happened?

Answer: I believe it is an unfortunate situation for everyone. I hope it can be rebuilt and the family can continue its involvement in the wonderful sport of skating.

Question: You are also a dancer, can you please tell us about your exciting dancing activities?

Answer: I began salsa dancing in 2000, participated in a performance team, Salsa Capital here in Sacramento. I discovered the competitive style of International Latin and competed with my coach in pro/am divisions of competitions similar to the style you see on Dancing With The Stars. I now am studying some new styles of dancing with salsa, hustle and west coast swing, working with World Hustle and Salsa Champion Billy Fajardo and Raul Ante in the San Francisco Bay area.

Question: Going back to your invisible friend at the Iceland Ice Rink. How do you know he was around? Did he speak to you? If he spoke to you, did he speak to you telepathically or could you hear him audibly? How many times did you see him visually?

Answer: I saw the figure, the person, the clothing, his body positioning. A few times I put my skate guards on and went into the coffee shop but saw no one. I knew he was there when I would see him. He never spoke or acknowledged my conversations with him. Visually, over the period of two years I saw him 8-10 times.

Question: You said you did ice shows worldwide? Where in the world did you go for these shows?

Answer: Holiday on Ice in Europe, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Las Vegas, Nevada, Reno/Tahoe/Atlantic with Hot Ice, and the annual professional Christmas show with Peanuts creator Charles Schulz at his arena in Santa Rosa, California.

Question: It appears that this invisible friend was attracted to you and tried to communicate with you? You may have psychic abilities and are not aware of it? You mentioned you once worked with a psychic, can you elaborate on this?

Answer: I contacted a pet psychic to find my pet who was lost and had health issues that rendered him helpless without medication. She located him within 24 hours of contacting her.

Question: Out of curiosity…tell us how you became interested in dancing?

Answer: Dancing was always a secondary skill with skating, a tool to improve performance etc. When I decided I finished skating I had to find a new sport. Dancing was the obvious choice.

Question: Please explain to us in what area of the Iceland rink you saw this entity?

Answer: Iceland had a coffee shop that was a warm, comfortable place for spectators to enjoy the sport without putting on skates. He would sit in front of the windows in perfect view of the skaters on the ice surface. He was always within the same location.

Question: Have you ever had any other paranormal experiences, if you have, please explain?

Answer: My sister lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 1995. She used to have a beauty regimen of a specific lotion and combined with her fragrance of choice, it created a unique scent. After her passing and to this day, every once and again I will smell her, in no particular setting, no particular time of day or night, just a hint of her scent. I always talk out loud and tell her I know she is here with me. I on a regular basis ask her if she saw me dance at my most recent competition, or if she saw me ski or snowboard recently. I ask her also if she sees how I am caring for our mother (who has Alzheimer’s disease).

Question: Today you brought Sam Morishima with you to the Coffee Garden for this interview. Sam experienced the same thing you did at the Iceland Ice Rink? Do you know anyone else besides you and Sam that saw this invisible entity? Who do you think this invisible entity is?

I cannot say of anyone saw the same person Sam and I saw, however, have been told the ice arena was haunted. Ghosts are not something to be feared, but something to accept and experience.

Question: This about wraps up the interview. I am going to ask you a few off-the-wall questions. Are you ready?

Answer: Go for it.

Question: If you have 6 dinner guests, 3 historical and 3 fictional, who would they be and why?

Answer: Fictional: The Green Hornet because his whole persona is everything rolled into one. Jack Nicholson’s character Jack Torrance in The Shining because he is eerie, yet mesmerizing, thirdly Oz from Wizard of Oz because of his façade of power then weakness in reality.

Historical: Ulrich Salchow, pioneer of figure skating, to understand the role he played in the sports evolving. Lucille Ball, the epitome of superstar. Astronaut Neil Armstrong or John Glenn for the first moon walk.

Question: What books, TV shows, cartoons, movies do you like?

Answer: Books—anything Deepak Chopra. Cartoons—PePe LePew, he is so misunderstood. Loved Fractured Fairy Tales. Movies—not a big movie-goer but anything Warren Miller. TV shows—hockey, figure skating, science, medical-related.

Question: You said you did some ice skating in Europe. Where in Europe?

Answer: Spain and Portugal

Question: When you went to Chichen Itza, what was your experience there that is very memorable to you?

Answer: The whole construction process, the meaning of why its location was chosen, the mystical surroundings and religious background of the people. Ancient history is the window to our future today, i.e. the development of calendars, calculations of time, etc. Such primitive times yet the structure withstood all nature’s fury for decades and centuries.

Question: Okay, last question. Any words of wisdom for your readers?

Answer: Do not fear things that are unfamiliar to you---experience it before making a decision to be afraid.

UFO SIGHTING BY TERRA FIRMA PARANORMAL GROUP.
Terra Firma Paranormal Group in Phoenix, Arizona reports that on May 19, 2010, they witnessed UFO activity. Investigators/eye witnesses from their group: Janet Kopper, Jolieann Tran, Cindy Belman and Lauren Welch witnessed a cigar shaped UFO at 50,000 feet over downtown Phoenix. Time: 13:17 Hours. It remained stationary for approximately 20 minutes and vanished from sight.

MARGIE HMITS WITNESSES UFO IN 1975.
Margie of Auburn tells me that she witnessed a UFO on I-5 between San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles. The UFO was a ball of light. While moving at rapid speed it shot towards the moon. She tells me it actually looked like it went around the moon and darted back and vanished.

JEAN TEAFATILLER MASINGALE'S SON SEES SHADOW PERSON.
Jean Teafatiller Masingale aka Jean Rae tells me that her son at the age of 7 1/2 would see a shadow person in a fedora hat, no discernable features and wearing a trenchcoat. This Shadow Person followed him around for 3 years. It would appear in the corner of his room watching him. Wherever he slept the Shadow Person was there. It didn't walk, but seemed to glide around. It would not communicate with him. Sometimes he would see it sitting on his window sill, or in the corner near the ceiling. This happened in Norwalk, CA. Jean tells me that her mom while living in Downing, CA had problems with a ghost. The ghost would open up kitchen cabinets, open up the garage door and this would happen on a frequent basis. Jean was 12 years old when these occurrences took place.
