Today is September 5, 2010, Sunday. I was invited by Crystal Scudder to her home for a
birthday potluck. Today is Crystal’s birthday and the potluck consisted of barbeque chicken, tri-tip steak, potato salad, ice cream cake, sodas and numerous other deliquesces. I was thinking…am I going to be so full, that I will be unable to conduct my duties as a paranormal investigative journalist? Nah…let’s get on with this investigation. As we walked from Crystal’s home to the haunted winery, I was completely floored! Call History Channel’s American Pickers!! This place is like a freakin’ museum. There is stuff here from the 1920s, 1930s, 60s and 80s. Some hidden places of this winery holds stuff from the 19th century. As you walk around, you see wine barrels from the time this place was an active winery. There are old pictures of nude women on the walls, there are old beer bottles, old tricycles, derby hats, old signs, old Life magazines, old postcards, etc. I can go on and on, but I am going to let you look at the pictures I took from this place and you can see those pictures here:

Let’s take a CV Paranormal Roll Call: Crystal Scudder, Kimberly Phillips, Sherry Anderson, Becky & Lee Smallwood, Rebecca Hunter, Joey Simeao, Joe & Guina Simeao, Pat Willett, Pat Stauffer, Hote Lawson. Guest: HPI General Manager Paul Dale Roberts.

Let’s get some history about this winery. The owner of this winery is: Jose ‘Joe’ Simeao. The original owners were Joe’s family, his uncle Joe Gonsalves. The wine they produced was O-Douro. The winery was first built in 1939 or 1940. Joe Simeao started collecting all kinds of stuff, back in 1960 and is still collecting, that is why this winery looks like a museum. Joe has collected: street signs, horse harnesses, coffee cups, magazines, old records, old radios, milk cans, soda and beer signs, little toys, model cars, old farm equipment, etc.

Joey Simeao is Jose ‘Joe’ Simeao’s son and he has a few things to add: “When the winery closed, the front part became a garage door company. In 1977 or 1978 Joe turned into Lisbon Auto Body, which stayed in business until 2000. Now it is a hobby shop garage. The winery was closed in 1958.

James G. Carroll wrote a book called: The Winemakers of Martinez. He talks about the Gonsalves Winery and states in his own words: “Mary Gonsalves came from Portugal, arriving with her mother in San Francisco on 8 August 1920. Her father was already located here, having come to Port Chicago in 1911 to seek his fortune. Fortunes were slow to accumulate in those days. The family then settled in Briones Valley. Shortly thereafter, she met Joe Gonsalves, who had also come to the area from Portugal via Massachusetts. Mary and Joe were married in Martinez in 1922. Following repeal of Prohibition, Joe announced: “I want to go into the wine business!” He obtained the necessary papers and purchased five tons of grapes (which make about 750 gallons of wine). He made the wine and then discovered that he had more wine than he was supposed to. The Gonsalves grew most of their own grapes until the last four years when they bought grapes locally, particularly their Muscats and Zinfandels. They made only dry wines. Sweet wines, Muscatels, Ports and Angelicas were purchased from the Mango Brothers, whose vineyards stretched from Benicia to Cordelia. Mary and Joe Gonsalves returned to Portugal for regular visits every three years, they have kinfolk in the Doura Valley. Joe Gonsalves died in 1966.

Added Note: The O-Douro Label from the Gonsalves Winery of Martinez is a label that recognized the Douro Valley in Northern Portugal and the well known bridge in Oporta, the second city of Portugal.

Activity: A psychic once walked through this winery and picked up on strong residual energy. That energy probably is being manifested through all of the items that Joe has collected and stored in this winery. Through psychometrics items can carry the residual energy of entities that once possessed the objects. I also learned that the Gonsalves family had a family member that they affectionately called Aunt Mary with 2 kids and both kids died in bizarre accidents in 1927, 6 months apart they faced their demise. One of the children was named Alice and she died when a horse kicked her and the boy named John died at the age of 2 with black beans in his nose. Somehow he was playing with the beans and placed them in his nose and it suffocated him. It is theorized that these two children may be haunting this winery.

EVIDENCE COLLECTED:
As the investigation commences, the team has already picked up on an EVP. Sherry Andersen says ‘yeah’ and a female entity says: ‘Sherry that looks good’. There has been some K2 hits and during another EVP session, Crystal is saying some words to her group and gets a distinct ‘shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh’ EVP. Another strange oddity during this investigation is that the flashlight turns on by itself, when someone asks a specific question.

Kimberly adds the following information to the evidence being gathered: “We have 2 KII meters set up in different locations. Both are going off at the exact same time and both last the same duration.”

Kimberly also has created an experiment for her ghost hunts and I will let her explain it in her own words: “I purchased a container of “glow powder” from stevespanglerscience.com. This powder is made of phosphorescent zinc sulfide. During our investigations, we take the powder and put it on our clothing, arms, or an object in the room. The theory is that when a spirit touches you, it will cause the powder to glow. During our investigation tonight, we had two investigators who had glow powder on their shirts and pants. We asked the spirit to touch us and we would glow. One investigator’s shirt began to glow, and the other’s pants were glowing. We also placed glow powder on the couch we were sitting on, the exact location is on the arm of the couch and one cushion. When the investigators got up from the couch, the cushion was glowing.”

I got a possible EVP, that sounds like a man saying ‘dash dee dash’. Another possible EVP is the response of ‘no’.

After the winery investigation, we proceeded to a private residence that could be haunted by a Russian man that once lived in that home and may have also committed suicide. I conducted a seance with a hedge of protection prayer for the group. During the seance we felt extreme cold spots that seemed to move around with the circle. We got some good K2 hits when questions were asked. During the seance we obtained an EVP that sounds like a gruffy baritone sounding man with a possible Russian accent, this is being analyzed further.

To get to Martinez, I went up to North Highlands and rode with Sherry Andersen in her truck. Sherry and I took turns driving back home and we were extremely fatigued. We made it to her home and her cat and parrot greeted us instantly. I was extremely exhausted and crashed out instantly on Sherry's couch. At 9:30am Monday Sept. 6, 2010 I have a preliminary investigation which is near Sherry's home. Read about the preliminary below:

PARANORMAL SEX TAPES:
I was called upon by a couple that will stay unidentified in this article. The couple on one night taped recorded their private sex session. When listening to it, they were startled to hear distinct EVPs. The entities seemed to be coaxing them on during their sex act. There were male voice EVPs and female voice EVPs. The female voice EVP says: "She is a liar". Male voice EVPs say: "Is that Jack's girlfriend?" "Turn her around and ----- her -------." "Get some esse!" The EVPs were all Class A. The boyfriend was extremely upset hearing the EVPs and feels something is following his girlfriend. The girlfriend feels she may be psychic, entities have been following her all her life, now she feels there is a legion of entities in her home. The entities have also been knocking on the walls. No longer can she walk comfortable nude in her apartment, she feels she is being watched constantly. After listening to the EVPs, I feel the entities have a demonic disposition. I will be sending in a team to cleanse the home, I will conduct a Catholic blessing. I will also bring a couple of psychics to see what they pick up in this apartment.

Hello Everyone!
This is the link to my photos from last nights investigation. There are a lot of photos with designer orbs. Many of them look the same or similar. In my experience, I just can't think that is a coincidence. Plus just like I mentioned last night, there are several photos with red colored orbs. The red orbs were taken at the same time when the team was getting hits on the K2 and the flashlight going on and off by itself. Interesting to say the least...

Willow the dog was an awesome subject to photograph. She is so pretty and has a great disposition. If I didn't know any better I would have been afraid of her when I saw the "Ghostlight eyes" photos. Of course I understand the ghostlights are her pupils reflecting the camera's flash. Interesting how the lights are white and not the usual red.

I am sure I like the spirit we contacted here. Hearing the EVP that said, "Sherry that was good" proves they know a good photographer when they see one... ;-)

TRIANGLE SHAPED UFO OVER FRESNO VIDEO!
Hi Paul, I'm writing you at your personal address since I know it's a holiday and didn't know if you'd get this before Tuesday if I sent it to your work address. This video was shot by one of my sons best friends a couple of days ago while driving on I-5 near Fresno. They said they saw a triangular shaped UFO flying low over the cars on the freeway actually slowing down traffic then it glided to the other side of the road then did a 180 and came back over their car before flying off an an angle after the truck passes and this is what video they could get before it took off. It's kind of hard to make out but I thought it was worth sending to you to see if you or your experts might be able to slow it down to check it out further. If there was that much traffic on the freeway, there's got to be other reports of this encounter. Also, in going through my boxes in the garage, I did find a photo taken about 15 years ago that I had been searching for to show you of me at a Halloween costume party with a huge orb followed by a trail that is so white it blocks out everything behind it. I will scan it in the morning so I can send it to you because I've always wanted to get an expert opinion on it. There is also a photo my mom took many years ago when she lived in an apartment by herself and in the photo the TV was turned off but there was an image on the TV of what looks to me like a religious image of some kind. The photos taken immediately before and after that shot show nothing on the TV, this is the only one that did, so as soon as I can obtain that one I will scan it and send it to you as well.
