The Demon Warrior and Leatherface Talk about Sacramento’s US Marshals and ATF.
By Paul Dale Roberts, HPI General Manager
www.hpiparanormal.netIt’s a warm balmy night. Paul Dale Roberts aka The Demon Warrior sits on top of the Renaissance Tower, lost in his thoughts, as he looks upon the city of Sacramento. He ponders on why the crime is so incredibly high in Sacramento. What methods can be used to eliminate the more serious violent crimes?
In the distance, the Demon Warrior hears footsteps, he turns around to see another masked warrior, it’s Telly ‘Leatherface’ Blackwood.
Demon Warrior: Face, how is it that you always find me?
Leatherface: I just know your routine, what’s on your mind?
Demon Warrior: I think of our high crime rate in Sacramento, it seems that things are getting out of control. With our economy limiting our local police force, it appears crime statistics are skyrocketing.
Leatherface: Perhaps we should place our paranormal investigating to the side and take on crime fighting?
Demon Warrior: No, Face, we will continue to do what we do, we are the warriors of the night as we defend citizens from supernatural threats. On a normal level, I am glad Obama has recognized former Sacramento Police Chief Albert Najera. Because of his outstanding achievements as a police chief, he will now serve as a U.S. marshal for the Eastern District of California.
Leatherface: Now that is a crime fighter! Najera is now part of a long line of dedicated US Marshals from Morgan Earp, Virgil Earp, Wyatt Earp, Wild Bill Hickok to Bat Masterston.
Demon Warrior: Yep, that’s’ right and what is interesting is that Morgan and Wyatt lived in Sacramento for a while. But back to Najera, I heard he grew up in Sacramento and has traveled around the world to lead anti-terrorist and emergency operations training sessions. He also was sent to New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to assist local law enforcement there. This guy is a hero and if we had more crime fighters like him, the crime rate in Sacramento would plummet to an all time low.
Leatherface: Wow!
Demon Warrior: What is it?
Leatherface: I just pulled up
http://www.justice.gov/marshals/ and it’s incredible on everything that the US Marshals do. They are located at: 501 I St # 5600
Sacramento, CA 95814-7304 / (916) 930-2030 They are the oldest federal law enforcement office in the US.
Demon Warrior: Remember, not only do we have Sacramento’s finest on the local level, but we also have a great federal response team from the US Marshals, to the FBI, to the DEA, to the ATF.
Leatherface: Our Sacramento ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) are still conducting an investigation at the Roseville Westfield Galleria, after that fire.
Demon Warrior: Well, they have done more than that, you know they have investigated a large commercial warehouse in Sacramento on September 2006 and the Iceland Ice-Skating Rink, a landmark in Sacramento in March 2010.
In 1978, ATF developed the NRT (National Response Team) to investigate in partnership with Federal, State and local investigators in meeting the challenges faced at the scenes of significant arson and explosives incidents. The NRT consists of four teams organized geographically to cover the United States. Each team can respond within 24 hours to work jointly with State and local law enforcement/fire service personnel in onsite investigations.
Leatherface: That is pretty impressive about the ATF and US Marshals in Sacramento. DW, I heard you used to watch the US Marshals train, where was that at?
Demon Warrior: When I was stationed with the Louisiana National Guard in Camp Beaugard, Louisiana. I used to watch the US Marshals swing on rope ladders from helicopters.
Leatherface: Well, with all of the Federal, State and local working closely together during a major crisis, perhaps Sacramento is not that bad off after all.
Demon Warrior: I applaud our Federal forces that work closely with Sacramento’s finest, but I am keeping a watchful eye on our city, I hope our crime rate will start declining. I hope.
