The Ghostly Giant Tree: The Catherine Anonuevo Story

www.hpiparanormal.netIn the Philippines, there are many tales of haunting, ghosts, monsters, mythical creatures of the night. This is just one of the stories. Catherine tells me this actually happened to her and her mother. Catherine and her mother were walking home and they decided to take a short cut through the jungles of the Philippines. They were walking through the jungle brush and came upon a big tree. The tree was humongous and they couldn’t get over how tall this tree was. They continued on with their journey to get home and to their surprise after walking for a while, they came upon the same tree. This happened a few more times and now they were exhausted and quite perplexed why they were walking around in circles and winding back at the same giant tree.
Catherine’s mother heard a story about this tree, it was called the Ghostly Tree and to disengage from walking around in circles it was required that they take off their clothes and wear their clothes inside out, this would stop them from walking in circles and encountering the Ghostly Tree each time. They did exactly that and continued on with their journey and they were happy when they arrived to their home. Catherine swears this story to be true. Could it be that they actually walked into some kind of time portal that would keep them on a path that encircles a small patch of land on this island? A portal that disrupts the space/time continuum as we know it or did they merely get lost and by coincidence the wearing of their clothes inside out, gave them the confidence to find their true path home? The unknown is exactly that..the unknown.

VAMPIRES VS. ANGELS
Next interview was conducted by telephone. The call was from Kevin Ford and John Rochelli of Monterey, California. Kevin and John tell me that they were taking a long hike through the gullies of Del Rey Oaks and after their long hike, they sat near a waterfall. After talking for a while, they both dozed off asleep. Kevin says that he had a vivid vision of three vampires or what appeared to be vampires lurking in the tree tops. The three vampires were male, with white pale skin and eyes as black as coal. All three vampires were wearing all black, including black trench coats. The three vampires leaped from the trees and landed right next to them. One of the vampires grabbed John’s throat, while the other vampire bit into Kevin’s arm.
As the vampires were ready to make their attack again, a strong bright light shown upon the vampires. The light was emitting from the trees. From the trees 3 angelic beings appeared, they must have been 12 feet tall, wearing white robes. Their faces were so bright, that Kevin was not able to make out any features, but could see that all three angels had long flowing golden hair. Kevin was not able to determine if they were men or if they were women, due to the brilliance of light reflecting off their faces and bodies. The three angels brought out long broad swords and pierced the hearts of the three vampires. The three vampires shriveled up into nothingness.
The three angels looked at the two boys and vanished and the only thing that was left was 3 tiny bright orbs that flew away into the trees. Kevin woke up and immediately woke up John. John and Kevin both at the same time were talking about the same vision. John actually made claim that he saw the same thing that Kevin saw in his vision. Kevin noticed that John had strangulation marks on his neck and Kevin discovered he had two small puncture wounds on his wrist area.
What happened to John and Kevin occurred 25 years ago and to this day, the memory of this experience haunts them. They have no explanation of how both of them had the same vision and how John had marks on his neck and Kevin had puncture wounds on his wrist. Did these two men really have witnessed vampires and angels? The only thing I can tell you is that John and Kevin took a step into the unknown. A step that they will never forget.
