Last night was a very special investigation...Plus I was blessed to enjoyed good food, and wonderful company. with family and friends. It was a private investigation, involving exploration and teaching of the paranormal. Out of respect for all those participated and their privacy, their names will be left out. As a collective group of seasoned investigators, sensitive/mediums, and new investigators on a journey of discovery... If I were to choose a name for our small group last night it would be ‘Unbreakable Beholder’s of Light’..

There were personal experiences along with evp and K2 activity. In the ball room, we caught some very cool pictures. At one point in the ball room, when we were recording with the Sony handy cam, a stone came rolling across the floor.

In the basement, two people saw red eyes in the room where the claims of the butcher are. When I was down in the basement, I was working with a new investigator, it was amazing to see his reaction when the K2 went off, and we were getting intelligent responses to our questions. The K2 did not go off until, we went to the dark of the basement... It was an amazing experience...

Through out the rest of the mansion, you could feel you were not alone, especially in the children’s rooms, and the original owners rooms. I have a great respect and love for Prospect Place. It is a beautiful historical site, built by abolitionist George Willison Adams in 1856. The 29 room mansion, was part of the underground railroad. Including the basement there are 4 floors to the home, the top level being like a watch tower, and it’s the first place I run to when I get there. The view is spectacular! They would put a lantern up there to allow the slave seeking their God given right of freedom, in the fields to know when it was safe to come to the house.

I think one of the neatest personal experience I had was... After the last of the people participating in the informal investigation had left. I went to go lock up the mansion doors, and mind you they are dead bolts, so unless you have a key you can only lock them from the inside. I was baffled to see that the doors were locked, it was very interesting indeed! But I think it’s sweet to know this haunted mansion’s spirits are still making sure the place stays safe..

When I think of Prospect, the spirits there that abound, and in closing I think of the one verse from Shakespeare's play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’...

“If these shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,
That you have slumbered here
While these visions did appear.”
