Interview with Marissa Aurora Elizabeth Selby, Sacramento Local Talent

www.hpiparanormal.netQuestion: Tell me something about yourself. Your personal life, family life, school life. Recreational activities and hobbies.
Answer: As far as my personal life I spend most of my time with my best friend Jessika and my boyfriend of just over a year. I live at home at the moment but my friend and I are hoping to move out soon! It is one of those things everyone looks forward too! I attend a community college at the moment. So far the experience has been decent. Nothing to amazing so far, but I really do enjoy my classes and professors. As far as hobbies I love to sing, go dancing, and create short videos with my friends. I am constantly attached to my phone because it has a video record function! I love it.
Question: You are very multi-talented, you are a singer. Did singing come naturally for you? What kind of songs do you sing? I hear you have some YouTube videos of yourself singing, let’s see some of those.
Answer: I may not be the best singer but I absolutely love the feeling I get. It is really a relaxation thing more than anything. I sing a lot of R&B and country music. Those genres seem to be the most relatable. And yes! I would love to show you some of the videos. I place a lot of my music videos up on YouTube. I edit my own videos of me singing and dancing. The videos have a lot of my friends and just me being me. Oh..here are a couple of my videos:

Question: You did some modeling. Can you tell me about this experience?
Answer: I have modeled once for another person and that was awesome. We did a lot of field shots and fence shots. It was very artsy which I loved! I like different angles and colored lenses.
Question: Also, you are into dancing. Can you tell me about that?
Answer: I have been dancing since I can remember. My mom enrolled me in ballet when I was eight, I did not care for it but I really took a shine to lyrical and hip hop. When I was in fifth grade I started my own dance crew in elementary school. In high school I took four years of dance, each year had a different dance type. I must say hip hop is and will always be my favorite.
Question: We are going to do a follow up interview in the Summertime…because we are going to talk about your newest career as an HPI Paranormal Investigator. How did you become interested in the paranormal?
Answer: Ever since I was little I thought paranormal horror films were better than the rest. I even thought I was a little sensitive to paranormal entities when I was little. I didn’t really pursue it until I met Paul though! He has been inviting me to go and I cannot wait to go on some investigations and get my feet wet and explore the unknown. Of course, I have investigated on my own, the haunted Laguna Creek Wetlands, but I am ready to do a whole lot more. Note: Right now, Marissa is considered as an HPI Paranormal Investigating Scout.
