2nd Evidence Briefing

August 19, 2012 Time: 0100 Hours. Location: 2181 1st Street, Livermore, CA

If you are driving through Livermore heading for the bay area, there is a great little place to stop at. Not only does this place have ghostly characters hanging around the establishment, but it’s also a great place to eat at. Let me briefly tell you what they have on their menu. Grandma’s Fanny’s Italian Sub that is super delicious, with salami, mortadella, hot cappicolla, provolone, pepperincinis, olives, pickles, avocado and artichoke hearts in a mild vinegerette. Guess how much this delicious sub costs? A mere $7.99. Now that I have your attention, I will tell you what else they have on their menu. P:eppino’s Italian Roast Beef Sandwich; Salami and Provolone; Classic Ham and Swiss; Mortadella and Pepper Jack Cheese Luigi’s Italian BLTA; Maggio’s Kitchen Sink Sandwich with drink; Laura’s Italian Meatball and John’s Hot Pastrami. Tantalizing food to tease your pallet. Enjoy your meal and you might see one of their many ghostly residents.

ACTIVITY:
A local ghosthunting group – East Bay Paranormal captured a full body apparition on video. This full body apparition was one of the most clearest apparitions I have ever seen on video and it was captured right here at Maggio’s Italian Deli. Alex Newman – employee of Maggio’s briefs my team. He tells us that they hear thumps late at night. Footsteps are heard pacing the attic. Faucets will turn on by themselves. The noise of billard balls hitting and rolling on the floor are heard. Voices are constantly heard. 2 female disembodied voices were heard. Kitchen pans will start shaking. One time a table started shaking and moved 1 foot across the floor and the 2 people sitting at the table ran out of the door! Children are heard in the establishment.

HISTORY:
Maggio’s was built in the 1800s, it was once a candy shop. In 1901 or 1903, it burned down. The place was rebuilt by Tony and one of the ghosts in this establishment is Tony the Ghost. A ghost hunting group captured an EVP in which the entity identified itself as Tony. Maggio’s was once also a billards hall. Albert Levy was one of the former owners of this establishment and the owners now think that one of their entities is Albert Levy himself. A theory that came to mind is that when this establishment was a candy store, that may have been the time it burned to the ground and perhaps..just perhaps…it was children in this candy store that were caught up in that fire and became tragic victims of this disaster and it’s those children that still haunt this establishment.

HPI PARANORMAL INVESTIGATORS PRESENT:
Paul Dale Roberts – HPI Owner; Jon Koyasako – Security/Lead Investigator; Deanna Bailey – Case Manager, Lead Investigator, Sensitive; Kara Koyasako – Sensitive; Nina Lutz – In Training; Chantal Apodaca – Not present, but receiving reports at base camp – my home. Tonight before going to this investigation, my investigators and I stopped at a BBQ at Sir Wes – former HPI videographer’s home. We stuffed ourselves with hot links, ribs, chicken and lamb. Nina brought over a scrumptious artichoke dip and chips, I brought over soda and I think the rest of the team brought over more soda. Great BBQ, great people, great music. Nice way to start off a long haul from Sacramento to Livermore investigation. Deanna Bailey drove the team to the location in her 2010 Chevy Impala nicknamed The Impaler.

FIRST INVESTIGATIVE SESSION EVIDENCE BRIEFING:
Deanna captures a clear EVP that says Tony. I captured an EVP that sounds electronic, but unintelligible. Many orbs are being captured. We have two areas to investigate, the attic and the kitchen and dining area. I also learned more when the owner showed up, she told me that this place was rumored to be a brothel and it was also once a dance studio. The owner’s name is Laura Miller. I thank Laura for providing my investigators with an endless supply of soda from her soda machine. There has been some flashlight communication that appears to be intelligent. Laura explains to me that they once caught the full body apparition of Albert on their security camera and unfortunately they lost that footage.

SECOND INVESTIGATIVE SESSION EVIDENCE BRIEFING:
Last session, no EVPs, but we captured many orbs. Laura will be providing me the video footage that East Bay Paranormal captured of a full body apparition in the attic. Laura Miller and East Bay Paranormal will get full credit for the video. The video is gold in the paranormal realm.

CONCLUSION:
Like I always say, ghosts do not perform on demand, tonight they did not perform like I was hoping, Deanna did get that one good clear EVP, in which the entity identifies himself as 'Tony'. Is this place haunted? Absolutely! With the video footage of the full body apparition and the EVP that Deanna captured, this is all valid evidence! Good enough for me!
