My Message to my Peeps: HPI Investigators: We have an investigation this Friday Feb 1, 2013. Time: 7pm. I am taking you to a very unique place near my home. We are headed for the historic town of Franklin. So we will meet at my home at 7pm. Location of my home: Elk Grove, CA DESTINATION: 10404 Franklin Blvd, Elk Grove, CA – the place that I am taking you to, which is easy to get to from my house is very historic. Today talked with the locals at Kings Skate Country, Centennial Ranch Sport Bar & Grill, Hay Tones Hangout, Chantilly Lace the Wedding Place, The Loft in the historic town of Franklin. The locals say that Franklin is very haunted. We will visit the historic Franklin Cemetery, there you will find tombstones of Alexander Hamilton Willard – born in Charlestown, NH and died in Franklin on Mar 6, 1865. This is the last surviving member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Also, this location has a survivor of Pearl Harbor – Donald Caldwell. Kings Skate Country is working on getting us into their establishment for a full on investigation. I conducted an investigation in Franklin once before, here is what I found: On May 10, 2008, Saturday, I did a solo scouting mission back to the town of Franklin. CJ Jensen, the owner of CJ's found my article on Calvin Colt of Franklin and contacted me. He gave me an exclusive tour of CJs. He explained to me that this establishment was built in 1897 or 1910. It was built by Archie Gillam. It was originally a mule station. CJ has owned this establishment for 11 years and he has many fond memories of this bar.
He also has some bad memories of CJs. CJ is from a prominent family that has lived in this area for many, many years. His great, great grandfather was a well-established man that owned banks, farm property and even some canneries. The business savvy that CJ has, came from his great grandfather. He saw potential in CJs and bought it. For a while, the place was doing good business, he has fond memories when a large group of beautiful women came walking through his door and partied all night at CJs. As time went on, things started deteriorating with his clientele. People that he knew would come into his establishment and it was like they had split personalities. Their attitudes would change in his establishment. Many customers became rude and obnoxious. It almost felt like there was a curse on CJs. CJ started noticing that strange things would happen around his establishment. It started with a bright red flash that seemed to come from out of nowhere. That was the start of the paranormal activity. He was ready to place a dedication sign for a deceased attorney friend on the wall and the screws were ripped out of the wall and placed on the bar. He would put the screws back into the wall and again they were ripped from the wall and placed back on the bar. Another time, he was ready to put up a picture in the bathroom and put in 3 inch wood screws into the wall. They were screwed out the next day. There was negative energy felt at CJs and the patrons seemed to be influenced by the negativity. It would seem that the patrons just started acting weird in his bar. After a while CJ felt his place was cursed and he started losing money from his bar. At one time his bar was prosperous and local celebrities, along with politicians would flock to his place. Those days were gone. It was time to sell, before he lost his mind.

Special Note: Dogs are at times used in investigations, because dogs and cats are known to have a 6th sense. This was Hi-Pee’s 4th investigation and Princess Hannah’s 1st investigation.
During this investigation, Mark Tatum captured 6 feet tall huge orbs. What is unusual about the town of Franklin is the fact that huge orbs are always captured in this town. The locals have said that when they take photos, they find huge orbs in their photos and Mark on this night took 3 photos in simultaneously succession and in all 3 photos there is a huge orb, it appears to be the very same orb. On this night, we captured 3 EVPs that I know of, not all of our evidence has been fully analyzed yet. The first EVP I captured, it was a male voice saying to ‘go away’. Then I captured a female voice talking, but I can’t understand what she is saying. Jason Hardi captures an EVP of a male voice saying ‘yeah’. Jon Rubsam when first entering the cemetery picks up on two names, one name is Lester King and the other name is Otto. While surveying the cemetery, Patrick discovers the tombstone of Lester King. Could the King family have been a prominent family in Franklin that is responsible in the establishment known as King’s Skating Ring? Jon felt that Lester King was a dominant presence in this town. The Otto name was also in Jon’s mind, but no tombstone was discovered for an Otto.
No evidence of Calvin Colt was discovered, unless the EVP of the male voice telling me to ‘go away’ was the voice of Calvin Colt or perhaps the huge orb captured in Mark’s camera photo was the spiritual containment field of a gunfighter known as Calvin Colt. Who knows? Princess Hannah was quite contained in the cemetery, while Hi-Pee on 3 different occasions seemed to be freaked out by something and on two different times, started chasing something and there was nothing there to be chased. Another time Hi-Pee looked and acted like he was depressed and wanted to go back to the car. I do believe Hi-Pee was sensing something. Today 2/2/2013 Saturday – I placed Princess Hannah and Hi-Pee in the car and took them over to the wetlands / Kaiser Permanente area near Big Horn Blvd for a walk and both seemed very happy, they played with each other and ran all over the place. Why didn’t they seem happy at the cemetery? Maybe, just maybe they were seeing things that we could not see and it frightened both of them. Nevertheless, this was a fun and interesting case and evidence was captured that something is lurking in this very mysterious cemetery. A cemetery that boasts of the historical burial sites of a Pearl Harbor survivor and a Lewis and Clark Expedition survivor.
