a3cpi@yahoo.comQuestion: Tell us something personal about yourself. Your family life, where you were born and raised? Recreational activities? Hobbies? Favorite TV shows, favorite movies, favorite books.
Answer: I’m a single woman with no children. However I have two St. Bernard’s, Shannon and Babe. I was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA, my father was an oilman. Besides ghost hunting, I love to write and I am a world class diva shopper. Favorite movies: Pulp Fiction, Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure.
Question: How did you come up with the name C-3 Investigations? I am pondering what C-3 stands for? The Catastrophic 3? The 3 Cyclones? The 3 Amigos…oops, that starts with an ‘A’..my bad.
Answer: I coined the name, but we have never revealed the meaning….keep guessing.
Question: Tell us about some investigations that your team did and you felt they were very significant.
Answer: When we investigated Coloma, CA earlier this year. I felt we caught significant evidence and more importantly, the team really “gelled”.
Question: Where are the dudes on your team? How come there are no dudes?
Answer: Because we have two Alpha Females who run things quite well. Actually I love the rapport that my girls have, we really enjoy each others company. Paul, remember that we made you an honorary “C” and gave you a badge in Virginia City, so consider yourself lucky.
Question: What would be a dream investigation?
Answer: Tombstone, Arizona. The Birdcage Theatre and the OK Corral would be amazing.
Special Note: I have been to Tombstone, Arizona, I love that place. I especially love the history. Paul.
Question: Do you investigate crytids and UFOs?
Answer: Not yet. We have enough spooks to fill up our time right now.
Question: What future investigations are on your schedule?
Answer: I would love to go back to the Holbrooke Hotel in Grass Valley, CA
Special Note: HPI has investigated the Holbrooke Hotel 3 times, a great hotel with lots of activity. While in Grass Valley, don't forget that down the road is the infamous 'Round Room'. Legend has it that this is where Church of Satan founder Anton LeVey would have rituals at with his Satanic members. When HPI investigated this place we found Satanic graffiti on the walls and a human tooth.
Question: Please list the names of the investigators on your team and their titles.
Answer: Lisa Harris – Tech Director, Robin Bjerke – Lead Investigator, Quincy Stewart – Investigator.
Question: How did 3-C originate?
Answer: I formed 3CPI in 2011 due to my increasing interest the paranormal field. Upon moving to the picturesque village of Dutch Flat in the mid 90's (a former gold rush era mining town), I discovered that the home that I purchased was fraught with unusual "activity" as well as many other dwellings in the area. Instead of being frightened by this, I chose the path of enlightenment. At this time I realized that I had the ability to see and hear said entities when others could not.
Question: What types of equipment does 3-C use? I hope you don't tell me "just a flashlight and your own intuition", I actually had a ghost hunting group tell me that.
Answer: LOL! No, Paul we use more than that. 3-C Paranormal Investigations utilizes various tools of the trade such Mel-Meter, digital recorders, digital cameras , camcorders, Ovilus III, laser grid scope, and last but not least Me. I'm an Energy worker, 2nd level Reiki, Clairvoyant, Empathetic, Intuitive.......in other words, I see dead people and can communicate with them.
Question: What is your approach to an investigation?
Answer: My approach on an investigation is to gather information in a scientific way and find any alternative explanation, in other words to de-bunk anything that can't be proven. If an entity communicates that they wish to be "assisted", I can oblige. 3-CPI is an all female group hand-picked by me not for any specific skill set, but because they are my friends and:
1. Have my back in any situation
2. Showed interest in the paranormal
And most important of all.....
3. Must possess a sense of humor.

Contact Person: Melanie. Melanie and her family live in a 2 story house in Curtis Park. In 1967, the family that was living in this house, their patriarch hangs himself in the garage. The house was built in 1927. Their son feels constantly watched, he was the biggest skeptic of the house and is no longer a skeptic. He felt watched so much, that he ran away from the entity, threw himself over the stairs and broke his arm. The daughter says that the entity blew in her ear, it freaked her out.
