It’s 2 a.m. – my cell phone rings.
Paul: Yes? This better be good. You woke me up from a sound sleep!
Red: Paul, this is Red.
Paul: Raymond ‘Red’ Reddington?? The Concierge of Crime?
Red: That would be me.
Paul: Red, it was nice when I had that drink with you in Prague and we sat there for hours talking about our adventures. Mine in the paranormal. Yours in crime. I didn’t realize you had such an interest in the afterlife.
Red: Our time in the Czech Republic was memorable Paul.
Paul: Yes, it was and I heard a rumor that you got rid of the Stew Maker.
Red: Yes, I suppose you can say that the Stew Maker and I – departed ways.
Paul: So Red, how can I help you?
Red: I heard you had a case in Curtis Park?
Paul: Yes, I do, this Friday.
Red: If you come across anyone known as the ‘Tarot Reader’, send me a text message. Can you do that Paul?
Paul: Yes, no problem Red. Hey, going back to sleep.

INITIAL REPORT
Date to be there: October 25, 2013, Friday Time to be there: 7pm: Contact Person: Melanie. Melanie and her family live in a 2 story house in Curtis Park. In 1967, the family that was living in this house, their patriarch hangs himself in the garage. The house was built in 1927. Their son feels constantly watched, he was the biggest skeptic of the house and is no longer a skeptic. He felt watched so much, that he ran away from the entity, threw himself over the stairs and broke his arm. The daughter says that the entity blew in her ear, it freaked her out. This home has a basement to explore.

TWO NEW LEAD INVESTIGATORS:
Today Ivy Rubsam and Brent George were promoted to Lead Investigators. Congratulations Ivy & Brent, I know you two will do well.
THE AREAS TO COVER:
There are 3 areas to cover. 1st Area: Basement and backyard. 2nd Area: 1st Floor. 3rd Area: 2nd Floor. Shari is a Lead Investigator with Team Kitty, on her team are Mike, Amy Miller and Thomas (occupant). Brent is a Lead Investigator with Team Lancer and on his team are Wendy, Amy K, Melanie (occupant). Ivy has Team Baby Angel Kitten and on her team are Jon and Melissa.
INITIAL BRIEFING:
Jon Rubsam did a walk-through and felt nothing negative. Jon felt a gentlemen died on the property, that his name is Herbert. Herbert hurt himself in an accident, he felt that Herbert was sad. Jon felt uncomfortable in the little girl’s room. Jon felt that the garage was a fairly new addition to the home. Jon also feels there is a little boy in the house. Jon feels the accident that Herbert was involved in has to do with the city or county and it happened in the late 1940s. Special Note: Melanie confirmed that there was indeed a Herbert that died in this house and it gave her chills when she heard Jon talk about it. Jon also picked up on Martha, this is Melanie (the occupant)’s deceased mother. Wendy our researcher came up with a list of names of former occupants and learned that one family owned this house for 50 years. Thomas (occupant) tells us that the attic can at times feel uncomfortable. Melanie (occupant) explains that she gets creeped out in the basement. One of the occupant’s children let out a blood curdling scream and claimed that an arrow shot passed his head, he was terrified. On another night, the child let out another scream, he was howling in total terror, there were sounds of pounding feet. One of the children (the occupant’s have 3 children) felt the entity blew in her ear. There are times when the occupants feel they are being stared at all night. Huge winged insects once fell from the sky over this house. Melanie confirms Jon Rubsam’s ‘Herbert’ and says that Herbert hung himself in this house back in 1967.
FIRST INVESTIGATIVE EVIDENCE BRIEFING:
Jon feels that Herbert committed suicide in the bedroom, not the garage. His feelings are real strong with this theory. In the basement, there was a loud tapping sound and Ivy caught it on her recorder. The investigators with Ivy were not able to determine what caused this sound. Special Note: Brent debunked the sound as pipe noises. Jon, Melissa and Ivy saw some shadow play in the basement. Brent saw movement in the bedroom and feels he saw a moving orb with his own eyes. Brent’s team, with Amy Kneppel talking to the entity, received a very clear ‘shoooooosh’ EVP sound.
SECOND INVESTIGATIVE EVIDENCE BRIEFING:
Mike captures an unusual light streak photo in one of the bedrooms and then captures a bright light anomaly in one of the bedrooms. Brent captures a designer orb and when enhancing the orb shot, it looks like a skull. When Mike captured his light streak, the right side of his head hurt.
THIRD INVESTIGATIVE EVIDENCE BRIEFING/CONCLUSION:
Not much evidence was captured, but I do feel that there is something present in this home, we just could not capture conclusive evidence. The third round of this investigation was moderate in capturing any kind of evidence. Amy Miller conducted a Reiki cleansing with sage. I conducted a Catholic house blessing.
