THE HEADLESS SAMURAI:
YEAR 1980: During my stint in the US Army Military Intelligence, I was a short time in Toyko, Japan. While there, I became interested in the Samurai. The Samurai were a proud medieval militia that protected Japanese citizens. During the 12th century, the Samurai became synonymous with Bushi. Basically it meant that the Samurai were distinguished as the middle/upper warrior class. The Samurai followed the sacred rules of Bushido. The Samurai warrior still to this day influences modern day Japan in their creed and righteous justice. Many Japanese citizens still study their teachings. While in Tokyo, I heard of the ghostly spirit of the Headless Samurai that was part of the 47 Ronin (a real life Samurai elite group) that lost his head in battle. The Headless Samurai walks the streets of Tokyo searching for his head with his sword drawn ready to battle. Mind you at this time, I was not a paranormal investigator, but I was curious about the stories. As I walked the streets late at night searching for this apparition, I also became distracted with the charming smiles of the Japanese women. Unfortunately in Tokyo, a city that never sleeps, there were too many distractions and I was never able to see or find the Headless Samurai. What is interesting as I asked some of the citizens of Tokyo about this legend, 3 out of 10 people I talked to, made claim that they actually saw the Headless Samurai. With 3 witnesses, I will have to believe that this story has a foundation of truth. Question: Before we get deep into this interview Sean, tell me about your favorite hobbies, recreational activities? TV shows and movies you like, I hear you are a big Dr. Who fan. What other shows do you like?

Answer: I love Star Trek, the original series and Next Generation. HBO series, Game of Thrones, Sopranos, Oz. The movie, Back to the Future is among my all time favorite movie along with Eves Bayou and Pans Labyrinth. Yes, I love Doctor Who, Alphas, Heroes and Supernatural.

Question: You had an experience in Elk Grove at your mother’s house, can you tell us about that?

Answer: I have had many experiences at my mother’s home in Elk Grove. One of the more recent experiences include a woman entering my bedroom through the wall. Typically I can tell when someone enters the room the same way I sense them if they were of flesh and blood. When a presence comes in I feel the energy field in the room shift. The presence of the woman made me very uneasy and so I asked her to leave. She complied. Certain beings come into my room all the time and usually I am very comfortable with them. I see them as though they are comprised of a heat wave.

Special Note: Sean is most likely gifted with psychic abilities and entities are attracted to her, as if she was a lighthouse with a large light beacon. Like moths to a flame, entities are most likely attracted to Sean.

Another Special Note: You are probably wondering how I met Sean. I was walking my dogs Hi-Pee and Princess Hannah on the Laguna Creek Wetlands trail and Sean was jogging, she instantly stopped, looked at me and struck up a conversation. It was like our paths were meant to cross.

Question: Tell about your paranormal experience in Oakland?

Answer: The first paranormal experience I had in Oakland that I can talk about occurred in Roberts Park in the early 1980’s during a family outing. I saw a pack of horses being chased by a dog. It was FANTASTIC. Unfortunately no one else saw it. After that I can recall seeing orbs of light which did not illuminate the room or tiny points of white or blue lights which start out the size of a pin point, enlarge to the size of a marble and then disappear completely.

Special Note: My mother Rosemarie Causing claimed the same thing. While staying in a home in Mexico, she saw an orb with her own eyes, the size of a pin point, it became larger, until it manifested into a child carrying a basket of roses.

Question: You are very much into metaphysical science, what is your philosophy about the metaphysical realm?

Answer: I believe this realm is not separate from our own. The human eye is not a reliable source by which we are to judge reality. For instance, there are many things that do not register on the visual spectrum of light. For instance, X-Rays, Gamma Rays… Thus it is safe to say that in this incredible universe of ours, there are a great many beings that more than likely exist outside of the visual spectrum. My father was always a big fan of science fiction. I recall watching Star Trek, the original series with him as a kid. I would say this was part of my introduction to the metaphysical realm, the other I would say is experience. I have many.

Question: You write poems and you are in the process of writing a science fiction story, can you please tell us about this story?

Answer: Yes! I am currently writing about a man who finds himself conscious in a dark and unfamiliar place. His impulses feel very different. He cannot tell where he ends and the darkness begins. His heartbeat is more like the hum of a type writer and his vision is fragmented and non-linear. He finds that he can travel places with the use of vision of memories which occur simultaneous of his presence and that he exists in multiple places at one time, his dreams and memories are all inclusive.

Question: Now that you live in San Francisco, have you had any paranormal experiences in San Francisco?

Answer: I’ve been in San Francisco a little over one week. The building I live in is relatively new. I sensed a man in the hallway between the bathroom and the bedroom. I sensed this was an older man when he passed.

Paul, there are many places in San Francisco that are haunted. Let me give you a small list:

MANROW’S HOUSE:
On Russian Hill, you should stop by at the Manrow’s House. This house is located at the corner of Larkin and Chestnut Streets. It has the nickname of House of Demons. It was built in 1851 by JP Marrow. JP Marrow was a civil engineer and a judge advocate of a well recognized vigilance committee. JP reported table tapping, apparitions popping up at this home. Other witnesses at this home saw sugar emptied into salt bowls and vice- versa; knocking in different areas of the house; unfeathering of a bonnet placed on a table; sofa cushions thrown in all directions; witnesses pinched and their hair pulled; books thrown at a lady. A black servant that morphed into a horrendous goblin creature once appeared in this home, known as the Goblin Servant. A chair was thrown at a guest. To this very day, activity occurs and established ghost hunting groups are somewhat reluctant to investigate the Manrow’s House.

SAN FRANCISCO ART INSTITUTE:
This institution was built on the site of a cemetery. This building is haunted, along with the Trinity Episcopal Church. THE GRAY FIGURE is said to haunt this building. The apparition has been seen walking through a wall, it appears gray in color.

PRESIDIO OFFICER’S CLUB:
This club is now a visitor’s center used by the Department of Parks and Recreation. People visiting this center have seen PRESIDEO GHOST SOLDIERS. The Presidio ghost soldiers are seen in their Army uniforms banging on barrack's doors.

CURRAN THEATER:
An attendant at the ticket booth was murdered in 1922. This ghost is known as the CURRAN THEATER SPECTER. This ghost hangs out by a mirror that hangs in the lobby.

Paul, I have a lot to explore in San Francisco, I hope sometime you can join me.

Question: Wow! You are a fascinating lady, thank you for this interview! Now to some fun questions. You met a couple of famous people, who were they and where did you meet them?

Answer: I met Humpty from Digital Underground. I also met Bootsy Collins along with one of the Brides of Funkenstein. I met them at a party of 43rd Street in Sacramento years ago! I smoked back then and one of the things that stand out in my mind is Humpty asking me for drags of my cigarette.

Question: If you had 6 dinner guests, 3 fictional and 3 historical, who would they be and why?

Answer: Albert Einstein, Jimi Hendrix, Dr. Who, Papa Smurf, King Tut, Rumi

Question: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what 3 things would you bring and why?

Answer: Two books as they are my best friends and a hair brush. I don’t know why I would need the hair brush.

Year 1979: When I was professionally dancing with Jeff Kutache's Dancing Machine at Harrah's Tahoe, everyone knows that we were the first number to Cher, but there were other celebrities that we met up with. We met up with Bill Cosby. Bill was a Baccarat enthusiast, that loved to play Baccarat with a huge cigar in his mouth. When a fan approached him for an autograph, he refused and kept walking past the fan. I met up with Duane and Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers Band. Nice guys, I don't have too much to say about them. Met up with Erin Moran aka Joanie Cunningham of Happy Days. I assisted Erin on finding 'hot slot machines'. When I was hanging out with her, she was wearing knee high socks and a plaid mini-skirt. I told her, she looked adorable and she just smiled. I asked her how Richie Cunningham was doing and she merely says: "who knows?"

THOSE NOTORIOUS ORANGE GLOBES!!
UFO research studies indicate that when Orange Globes (UFO variant style) are seen, usually problems happen. Remote island near Brazil, inhabitants attacked after seeing Orange Globes, bothersome sonic booms heard near Italy when Orange Globes are seen. Before this interview, I dropped off some Pocket News to HPI Paranormal Investigator Jeri Smith's home, Jeri and I are featured in the 4th segment of this newspaper, an impromptu investigation that I conducted at her home. Jeri had her friend Annette tell me about her own paranormal experiences, I will conduct a future interview with Annette.
