Black Christmas Tree
The black Christmas tree is used in America as a symbol of a Halloween Christmas. This is because not all are Christian, but we wish to come together to celebrate the future with a holy harmony. It represents a passage of time, which is the first point of the symbol!
The pine tree represents eternity and also, the third eye. On top of the tree, it is customary to place angels, stars or other positive signs of abundance and blessings, as the sun leaves the sky during the winter months, and death is easier to notice all around. This is when the veil (like one a bride would wear over the forehead) is the thinnest from between our dimension and others!
Black, of course is the symbol of sacred mystery, wisdom, supernatural truth & justice. It is the night sky as well. On the flipside, the black tree may also be used on Halloween, even with other colors as well- it's really all a matter of interpretation for you of the sky and light of the season, both physical and metaphysical as well.
Trees are then decorated with symbolic ornaments, many of whichever you desire, which are tied up in ribbons for good luck to the individual branches as well- whether it is alive, or made of foil, anything is appropriate, as long as it is done so with honor and respect for all.
Another important part of a Halloween Christmas Celebration is the music! Play lots of party dance music, fun vibes and goth stuff because it will set the tone! You can dress however you like, as a matter of fact because it is all about expression, freedom & fantasy as well. Tell alot of stories as well around candle light, a fire place or t.v. even!
Alot of sugar and baked goods, cocoas, coffees and teas are used this time of year for comfort foods and beverages. Traditionally, candy is given out as a gift because it is memorable, inexpensive and the designs on the packaging and treats themselves can be used as decoration.
Black, silver & orange are the traditional tones of the season of fall, while purples, reds, golds and greens work better for Christmas. The holidays are all about coming together as a spiritual movement and hoping to exist in time, twisting and spiraling forever into eternity with love.
In fact, the whole purpose of reaching beyond this life into the next is for love and it's immortal form!!
Spiraling lights of any color can be used to trail upwards on the tree for the coming of the sun or downwards, for the leaving. The light is the essence of every message and can be recorded in photographs for centuries to come & hopefully more infinitely, if it is for love of course...
