Date of Call: 11/30/2021. Time of Call: 9:40 a.m. PST. I get plenty of calls on the paranormal hotline. Since the hotline number is a public number published on the Internet, the calls come in from all around the USA. There has even been a few international calls. I categorize the calls in two ways, some calls are what I call "average", where a person is telling me that their home is haunted and the average things are happening, like knocks on the walls, footsteps heard, maybe even a sighting of a ghost. Those type of calls, I usually do not write an article about. The other category is what I call "unique". The call is something that really catches my attention and I am compelled to write an article about it. Well, I received a "unique" call today, that I feel needs to be documented via an article. In this article, I will not disclose the location, but will disclose the client's first name, since it is a common name. The client doe not want their personal information out on the internet and I respect that. The client in desperation called me, because she wanted to know how they can bless their home. The information I sent them, provides them details on how to conduct a blessing on their home and if they feel they have an attachment, the article provides the family on what needs to be done. You can see that article at the Costa Rican Times, as seen here:
www.costaricantimes.com/spiritually-cleansing-your-home/70345Now to the story. We will call the client by her first name only. That name is "Helen". Location: Midwestern State. Helen tells me that when she was a little girl, she would go to a playground and play with the neighborhood kids. Ever once in a while, a potbelly man, that would at times wear a dirty t-shirt would come by walking his dog. She remembers him eyeing some of the children and it gave her a creepy feeling. This man had a purple birthmark that ran down from his forehead to his right eye. Sometimes the kids would tease him, or make fun of him. Then one day this creepy man with his dog, handed out lollipops to all of the children at the playground. After a while, this became a common thing, he would hand out lollipops to the kids. Some of the parents thought he was odd, but felt he was harmless. The kids started calling him Lollipop Man. As time went on, there were stories that he did something bad with two of the children that would frequent the playground and those children would never come back to the playground. The year was 1954 and Helen was 6 years old at the time. One day, the neighborhood talk was that Lollipop Man was found dead, face down in a nearby canal. It was ruled as suicide, but some people suspected murder and that maybe an angry parent killed Lollipop Man. Helen said her only close encounter with Lollipop Man was when he walked past her one day and stroked her hair and continued walking. When he did this, she had goosebumps on her arms, it really creeped her out.
Present Day: Helen says that she talked with her grand-daughter about "Stranger Danger" with her daughter present and relayed the story of Lollipop Man to her grand-daughter. Helen's grand-daughter on one night had a slumber party and her daughter caught the girls who were sleeping over, playing with a Ouija Board and calling out for Lollipop Man. The girls let out a scream, because the planchette flew across the room, this is what alerted Helen's daughter to check up on them. Helen's daughter scolded the girls for playing with a Ouija Board. The board was brought in to the slumber party by one of the girls that was spending the night. It was hidden in her back pack. Helen's daughter confiscated the Ouija Board and talked to the girl's mother on what she had done. The mother of the girl assured Helen's daughter that nothing like this will ever happen again and she apologized.
One week later, Helen's daughter noticed strange activity in her home. Cabinets would open on their own. Cold spots were felt in the hallway and Helen's grand-daughter was having night terrors and seeing in her dream a potbelly man with a purple birthmark on his face. Somehow during that Ouija Board session, they actually summoned Lollipop Man, he was now haunting the house. All types of other activity was occurring and the straw that broke the camel's back is when Helen's daughter woke up in the middle of the night and found the Lollipop Man on top of her and in the morning, she found a red lollipop sitting on her kitchen counter. When Helen's daughter saw the lollipop she let out a blood curdling scream. This compelled Helen to call me, to see what can be done. Helen assisted her daughter by saging the house and even had a psychic come over to conduct a cleansing ritual and nothing worked. After I sent Helen the article link on how she could do her own cleansing, she agreed to take the necessary steps in cleansing her home and the whole family is going to get re-baptized. I will stay in touch with Helen to see how everything progresses and assist her more if needed. Case pending closure.
