When I went on my vacation to Madrid, Spain to Morocco, I wanted to visit the Canary Islands. Unfortunately, I was on a budget and couldn't get over to the Canary Islands. To see a detailed story about my vacation to Spain & Morocco, stop by here: www.hackwriters.com/madrid05.htm

My uncle former Merchant Marine Jose Causing told me that I would love the Canary Islands, because it's a hotspot for UFOs and ghosts galore. I made two friends in Morocco. Their names are Taleb Halimi and Mandil Shriki. To this day, we still communicate on Facebook. My uncle Jose said when he visited the Canary Islands that he did see shadow people in the caves of Tenerife. The caves are very haunted, because many Guanche people were slaughtered by the Spaniards. Taleb says that when he visited the caves, he was attacked by a shadow person. Taleb said in one part of this cave, he felt like he was being strangled and felt a sharp pain on the side of his stomach. Taleb feels he was being attacked by a Guanche and that the sharp pain on the side of his stomach felt like a dagger. When he left that area of the cave, he felt normal again.

Mandil tells me that when he visited the town of Guimar, he was awe struck by Guimar's pyramids. Mandil tells me that these pyramids are also associated with UFO/UAP activity. Mandil has talked with locals who have seen three disc shaped objects hovering over the pyramids and then with a blink of an eye, they vanish. Besides UFO/UAP activity, you have ghosts. There is a ravine near the town of Barranco de Badajoz. Mandil says that legend has it, that a young girl was told by her parents to gather fruit from the trees of the ravine. This incident happened around 1895. The girl went to do her errand for her parents and then vanished. Twenty years later, the same young girl that vanished reappeared in town. She looked the same as when she disappeared. When questioning this girl, the girl did not realize that she was gone for 20 years, she thought she was gone only for a few hours. The locals believe she was abducted by a UFO or that the area of Barranco is a portal to another dimension. Some Ufologists believe she was taken by a UFO and traveled at light speed into outer space, where time has slowed down. A few hours in space traveling at light speed, would be many years here on Earth. That would explain why she looks the same way as when she vanished 20 years ago. Mandil believes that the pyramids are built on a ley line. Sightings of ghosts and UFOS have also been seen here at Barranco de Badajoz.

I explained to Mandil that skeptics believe that the pyramids have no mystical connection to UFOs, ghosts or anything else. They believe that farmers gathered some volcanic rocks when clearing their land and built the pyramids. Some skeptics also believe that the pyramids are not that old and date back to the 19th century. The reason why they came up with that theory is because they found pottery near the pyramids that date back to that time period. They found the pottery during the University of La Laguna excavations.

The late Philip Coppens, Belgium Author visited Tenerife in 2009 and did his own research and investigation, this is what he said:

"The fact is that on one plaza between two pyramids, archaeologists dug down into the structure, but stopped at a level they equated with the 18th century – and which was between 50 and 150 centimetres deep. From this, the mistaken conclusion was reached that they had dug down all the way to the bottom and had realized the oldest layer was two centuries old. Nothing can be further from the truth."

HISTORY OF THE GUANCHE PEOPLE
During 1000 BC, the Guanche people migrated to the Canary Islands. With their arrival, their hunting caused the extinction of a 3-foot-long giant lizard species and the Tenerife giant rats that grew to 3 feet and 9 inches long. My uncle Jose says that locals claim that they still see the giant rats around the caves of Tenerife. Taleb claims that he also saw a giant rat near the caves. Taleb says that when he saw the giant rat, it scared him to death. Taleb felt his life was in danger and that the rat would eat him. Taleb now thinks that the giant rat he saw was a ghost rat.

There were many deaths that occurred on the Canary Islands. There were squirmishes and battles. Two battles were:
The First Battle of Acentejo, Tenerife
1402 The Castilians Sought to Conquer the Canary Islands.
Special Note: The Castilians conquered Lanzarote & Fuerteventura rather quickly and finally conquered the rest of the islands by 1496.

Taleb and Mandil say that the Canary Islands are very haunted and if any paranormal investigator wants to encounter UFOs/UAP, shadow people, ghosts and ghost rats, you are welcome to investigate! It's all here at the Canary Islands! Special Note: Taleb and Mandil have vacationed at the Canary Islands twice and plan to go back one more time.
