Rocklin, CA is a quaint little town with a lot of history. I also received reports that certain areas of Rocklin are haunted. Isaac Campbell of Redwood City says that when he was visiting Rocklin with his wife, that both of them saw a small Asian man carrying a sledgehammer along the railroad tracks. Isaac thought it was odd to be by the tracks with a sledgehammer and Isaac and his wife kept an eye on him, to make sure he was not up to no good. The Asian man raised his sledgehammer as if he was going to hit the tracks. Isaac yelled out..."hey!!" The Asian man disappeared right before Isaac and his wife's eyes. Isaac realized that he saw a ghost.

Come to find out, Rocklin is connected to the transcontinental railroad. There were many Asian workers that worked on the tracks. In 1862 the Pacific Railroad Act handed over land from the Secret Ravine to the Central Pacific Railroad. The Asian workers completed the extension of the track from Newcastle to the Secret Ravine in 1864. In 1869, completion of the railroad tracks came to fruition. In 1869 Asian workers that once worked on the tracks moved into the Secret Ravine to raise vegetables that they would sell locally. The residents of Rocklin and Newcastle chased out the Asian community from the Secret Ravine using extreme violence. The citizens of Rocklin even accused a group of Chinese workers of murdering three people in Rocklin. The dark history of Rocklin hints at horrific beatings, torture and even murder of their Asian citizens. The negative events that happened in Rocklin, would definitely leave a residual type of haunting in Rocklin.

After receiving a few messages about Rocklin, I decided to go ahead and conduct an investigation. I brought along Wish Fire aka Deanna Jaxine Stinson - Psychic Medium and my two psychic dogs Story and Champagne. We investigated the following:

Barudoni Building - Old Saint Mary's Chapel - Historic City Hall
5200 Front Street, Rocklin, CA

Sunset Whitney Recreational Area
4201 Midas Avenue, Rocklin, CA

Another witness to paranormal activity in Rocklin is Leo Wright from Piedmont, CA. Leo came to Rocklin to meet a woman he got acquainted with on a dating app. Leo's date told Leo that she has heard drumming sounds and chanting in the Rocklin area and she believes that this drumming and chanting is coming from the spirits of the Nisenan Maidu that once lived along the rivers and streams. When the California Gold Rush started, the camps of the Nisenan Maidu were destroyed by the miners who dredged and dammed the rivers and streams, so they could get their gold. Some Nisenan Maidu were brutally killed by these miners. Leo's date also told Leo that she once saw 3 dandy looking fellows walking together from the historic city hall. The dandy looking fellows were laughing and then disappeared.

Leo says that when he stopped by Sunset Whitney Recreational Area, he felt a pain in his chest and then he heard a man's voice whisper in his ear..."does it hurt yet?" After he heard the whispering, Leo hightailed it out of there. Leo's date was startled and couldn't believe that Leo was attacked by some kind of ghost. When Wish Fire and I, investigated the recreational area, Wish Fire captured three EVPs instantly. The EVPs were unintelligible, but definitely a man's voice is heard in the background. Wish Fire also saw a ghost of a man that was 6 feet tall and wearing a long-brimmed hat. Our dogs Story and Champagne went crazy barking at one area of the abandoned building structure at this recreational park.

Liam Clark of Foster City, CA says that you can hear the Tommyknockers pounding on rocks at Quarry Park in Rocklin. Liam also says that he used to live in Rocklin and that an elderly man with a long beard is sometimes seen at the Barudoni Building. Liam says that he is psychic and when he encountered the elderly man, he asked the old man ghost...."what is your name?" The old man ghost responded and said his name is Bernard. Liam says that the ghost that haunts Old Saint Mary's Chapel is a Lady in Blue. When Liam encountered the Lady in Blue, he asked her why she was haunting the church and received no reply. Liam also asked the Lady in Blue...."what is your name?" The Lady in Blue did not respond, nor did she look at Liam. Liam also encountered a man that had fire bursting from his jacket and then vanished. Liam believes this was a residual haunting from the 1914 Porter's Saloon fire. Liam also believes the Lady in Blue is a residual haunting, not an intelligent haunting.
