When everyone goes to the Brookdale Lodge, now called the Brookdale Inn and Spa, on May 16-18, 2008, you will have an exciting time finding hidden rooms and secret passageways that the Mafia used during their heyday! The gangsters had secret meetings and actual executions that would take place in these secret rooms to eliminate the rats from their organization! And YOU get to explore them all!
Al Capone and many assorted gangsters hung out at the World Famous Brookdale Lodge. Movie stars such as Marilyn Monroe and even President Herbert Hoover came to the Brookdale! President Hoover was even invited to fish in the stream that runs through the Brookroom!
One of the most famous ghosts of the Brookdale Lodge is Sarah. Her full name is Sarah Johnson, she was age 9, when she fell into the creek that ran through the Brookroom. She hit her head and was killed in the 70 foot brook that runs smack through the lodge! Her spirit has manifested in front of many guests and the last time HPI was at the Brookdale, one of our investigators captured an EVP that may have been Sarah!
