Modesto is the birthplace of a great filmmaker, you may have heard of him. His name is George Lucas. We live about an hour away from Modesto. I have investigated 12 haunted homes in Modesto. I have even investigated the outside perimeters of murder victim Laci Peterson's home with a former HPI psychic named Christina. When we investigated Laci Peterson's home, it was unoccupied. Christina made claim that the spirit of Laci still remained at the house, and we did get an EVP of a woman's voice that said..."Why? why?"

On 1/7/2024, I received a call from a married couple that claim that their home has poltergeist activity. Psychic Medium Wish Fire and myself, headed down to Modesto to see what was going on. The occupants who do not want to be identified were terrified of the activity. I will call the couple Mr. & Mrs. Lopper. The name "Lopper" is actually the name of their cat. Mrs. Lopper says that sometimes their plates will vibrate. The cabinet doors will also vibrate, and at times even open. They have no explanation on what is causing the vibration. One day, a spoon that was on the kitchen top vibrated and landed on the floor. Mrs. Lopper says, she is tired of the paranormal activity and would like an investigation and cleansing. Mrs. Lopper requested that only Wish Fire and I, attend this investigation.

Modesto is an old city and was founded on November 8, 1870. There are many haunted locations at Modesto. I once investigated the very haunted The McHenry Museum, 1402 I St, Modesto. This museum was built in 1912, and served as the Modesto Library until 1971. The building has been a repository for Modesto history. The museum doesn't have a ghost, but it actually once had a haunted loom. The museum received the haunted loom in 1994. In 1994, the late Heidi Warner, longtime curator of the McHenry Museum, told the Modesto Bee about the ghostly weaver who supernaturally kept adding more than half a dozen inches to a piece of cloth. The museum acquired the loom in the 1970s. In 1994 the museum decided to bring the legend to life. There is an index card next to the loom that says: “This loom, believed to have been used on a local ranch in the 1800s, was brought to the museum some years ago. When it was set up, about four inches of cloth was woven. Over the years, the length of the cloth has grown. To this day, no one has been seen operating the loom, yet the work apparently continues.” Unfortunately, the loom halted its weaving forever in 2007, because of a fire that destroyed many artifacts that were stored in the old John Muir schoolhouse. At this investigation, I obtained no evidence of any ghostly activity. It appears the fire eliminated the mysterious Weaver Ghost.

Now back to the investigation. Wish Fire conducted a walk through and detected no paranormal activity. We used temperature gauges, and no cold spots were detected. We used EMF readers and there were no unusual EMF readings. What we discovered that the home is a mere 5 miles from the Modesto City - County Airport. The airport is small, and no commercial flights leave the airport, it's basically for private planes. Is it possible that planes taking off from this airport are emitting vibrating sounds into the ground that are being transferred to this home, causing the vibrations? It's a real possibility. There are many fault lines near and around Modesto, which could be disturbing the tectonic plates. If a plane is taking off, the reverberating sounds may transfer to a fault line that goes from Point A (the airport) to Point B (the home). After explaining this to the clients, they were much relieved. They plan to move from this house in 2 years. When I explained to them that Wish Fire, our psychic medium did not pick up on anything and I didn't get any evidence of anything supernatural, this made Mr. and Mrs. Lopper happy. I checked all of my photos and there were no anomalies in my photographs. This investigation had a natural explanation. Not all places I investigate are haunted, some places like this one have a natural explanation. Case Closed.

Special Note: Wish Fire still conducted a metaphysical cleansing, and I conducted a Roman Catholic house blessing. Just in case..........
