www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61557076620102The Grim Reaper is the personification of Death itself, and the history of this imagery dates back centuries. Although the image has changed slightly over the centuries, the Grim Reaper is almost always shown in a large black cloak, a skeletal face and hands, glowing eyes, and holding a scythe, the long stick with a curved blade on the top. The origin of the Grim Reaper, had its beginnings in Europe during the 14th century, coinciding with the devastating pandemic known as the Bubonic Plague or Black Death. This personification of death became more prevalent in art, literature, and folklore during times of immense suffering and loss. The Bubonic Plague pandemic occurred in Europe from 1346 to 1353. It was one of the most fatal pandemics in human history. As many as 50 million people lost their lives. During my time in the Army stationed in Germany, many Europeans claim that entities wearing black robes and hoods mysteriously sprayed areas of land with an instrument that looked like a scythe. Some Europeans will also tell you there were mysterious airships in the sky that sprayed a strange mist on the ground. UFO enthusiast Albrecht Muller from Bremen, Germany believes that the Grim Reaper entities that were seen in the fields were possibly extraterrestrial. Albrecht believes that it was a depopulation method done by extraterrestrials.
Albrecht presents a great theory. It is also said that the Grim Reaper may have originated via various artists at the time, who began to depict death as a horrific figure. Skeletons armed with deadly weapons would dance among plague victims or ride in processions with wagons full of bodies. Eventually, the black-cloaked figure leading these ghastly processions became the first recognizable image of the Grim Reaper.
So, you have a choice, either the Grim Reaper is a real entity that Europeans saw during the Black Plague or created by over-active imaginations of artists. Now that you know everything about the Grim Reaper, let me tell you about a case that HPI (Halo Paranormal Investigations) did in regard to the Grim Reaper. Mark Bales contacted HPI and said that he keeps seeing the Grim Reaper walking around his house. I took a team of my investigators to Mark Bale's home in Stockton, CA. A couple of my investigators during the investigation produced an EVP that was inconclusive. While my investigators were hearings words in the EVP, to me and to a few of the other investigators, it sounded like gibberish. We really didn't get any evidence at Mark Bales house. I blessed the house and invited Mark to investigate other haunted locations with HPI. Mark Bales became one of my paranormal investigators and a good friend. Three weeks after investigating Mark Bales' home, his father died. Mark lived with his mother and father at the home in Stockton. Mark believed that the Grim Reaper took his father. Mark Bales was devastated after his father died. Mark also became obsessed with the Grim Reaper and actually dressed up as the Grim Reaper at a Halloween party, and yes, he had a scythe.
Mark Bales on one particular night frantically called me. Mark was telling me that he went to a grocery store and bought some groceries. When he went out to his car, there were two little boys, ages 12 and 14 possibly. They looked at Mark and asked for a ride to their mother's house. Mark told them no. Mark looked at their eyes and they were solid black. Mark started to have an anxiety attack and rushed inside of his car, started it up and drove away. He looked at his back view window and the kids were waving him to come back. When Mark told me this story, it sounded like he encountered the Black-Eyed Kids. When Mark got home, he tried to relax on his favorite chair and watch TV. Mark then saw the two black-eyed kids peering into his home from outside. Then out from the hallway, he saw what looked like the Grim Reaper. I set up an emergency investigation at his home. During the investigation, we did not get any evidence. I blessed the house again. After this investigation, two weeks later Mark's mother dies. Mark believed that the Grim Reaper took her. After Mark's mother's death, Mark was still seeing the Grim Reaper walking around his house and in his backyard. Mark Bales died two weeks later, after his mother died. Three deaths in one house. The death of Mark's father and mother and the death of Mark. As I write this, I still can't wrap my head around the fact that Mark would see the Grim Reaper, may have had an encounter with the Black-Eyed Kids and the death of Mark's parents and Mark (all in a short period of time). I will never forget during one of my investigations at Mark's house, his mother had to be taken to the hospital and Mark, one of Mark's friends and I, helped place his obese mother in the car and my finger went inside her open wound while I was trying to sit her in the car, and I freaked out. I can never be a nurse or a doctor, can't stand the sight of blood.
As I look back at this case, I truly believe that Mark saw an entity that looked like the Grim Reaper. The entity may have been a tulpa and was a creation from Mark's mind. To have 3 family members die in a short period of time is mind boggling and I truly do not have an explanation for that. Mark was in his mid-40s when he passed away. Mark died of a heart attack. RIP Mark Bales.
