Paul is survived by Cindy Anderson (wife); Paul Dale Roberts (son); Deanna Jaxine Stinson (daughter-in-law); Sharon Diane Kruger (daughter); Don Kruger (son-in-law); Illi Anna Vega (granddaughter); Jason Randall Porter (grandson); Mya Taylor Porter (great granddaughter); Brooklyn Nicole Porter (great granddaughter); Kyleigh Tatum Porter (great granddaughter).
Paul had a colorful life, he was a globe trotter / world traveler. His travels took him to Sweden; France (many times over to see his French relatives); Finland; Norway; Spain; Portugal; Italy; Greece; Sicily; Austria; Germany; Switzerland; Poland; Netherlands; Amsterdam; England; Scotland; Denmark; Ireland; Wales; Iceland and Greenland.
Paul visited many islands in the Caribbean, by taking cruises with his wife Cindy.
Paul was also a Korean War Veteran. As a US Army soldier for a Signal Battalion in Korea, he worked as a lineman. His Army tour took him to Hawaii, Korea and Tokyo, Japan. Paul made the rank of Corporal.
Paul had two stepsons through his first wife Rosita Causing aka Rosemarie Roberts. Those two stepsons were Andrew (Andy) Somprise Soyo and Joseph (Joe) Anthony Soyo. Both stepsons are deceased.
Paul worked for 2 government agencies, they were the Department of Benefit Payments and EDD (Employment Development Department). Paul worked in the capacity of State Auditor, Tax Investigator and finally Tax Administrator II.
Paul was born and raised in Lehigh, Oklahoma. Paul lived with his mother Sophie Roberts, his father - a former US Army Military Policeman Emile Roberts, brother George and sister Yvonne. Paul at a young age flew crop dusters on his parent's farm.
Paul was also a successful musician and played in a Bluegrass band called Pickin' Cousins.
