St.James, Minnesota area

A young carpet layer who had to work nights laying carpet in a farm house because the carpenters were working there in the daytime experienced some weird things while working those late hours alone. These happenings were enough so he would not allow his wife and young daughter to come to this farm while he was working there. He was afraid for them.

He would be working alone hammering the tack strips around the outsides of the rooms and he always felt that someone was watching him. He would be hammering the strips in and when he stopped pounding, the pounding would continue. Late at night his horn started honking on his van outside. He thought it was awfully late for any of his buddies to be pulling pranks on him but he went downstairs and opened the front door and the horn quit honking. He decided to have a cigarette while sitting in his van as they don't want smoking in a new house where a young family with small children and babies will be moving into. While having the cigarette, he saw a figure going past the upstairs window. Yes, he completed the carpet job. This farm house is the next farm west of another St.James happening that will be in another separate report. He is a serious person with a good reputation for telling the truth and would not want to be kidded about this incident. I know him to be credible
