BOW-LEGGED BRIGHAM - THE GHOST OF AMADOR CENTRAL RAILROAD
Danielle Mesa of Jackson, CA makes claim that she saw a bow-legged man walking around near the railroad tracks of Ione and Martell on August 27, 2016, around 8pm. She kept her eye on this bow-legged man because she thought he was acting suspicious. The bow-legged man kept looking at the railroad tracks. Danielle thought he was going to place an object on the tracks to cause the train to derail. As she watched the bow-legged man, he simply vanished. Danielle realized she just saw a ghost! Danielle told me this story on the paranormal hotline. It was odd to receive this call, because two years ago, I received a report from Douglas Carter in Sonora and he told me that he once saw the bow-legged man walking the tracks and when he told the story to his grandmother, she told him that he saw the ghost of Bowleg Brigham. Douglas grandmother said that Bowleg Brigham was a friend of the family and that Bowleg Brigham was a hobo outlaw that rode the Amador Central Railroad train in 1904. Bowleg was a good friend of Arizona Jack and committed some petty thefts with Arizona Jack in Bed Springs, Kansas Territory. When Arizona Jack was lynched for a murder that he committed is when Bowleg Brigham decided it was time to go back to California and ride the train and live the rest of his life as a hobo. Douglas grandmother says that he stole a small satchel of gold and hid that gold along the railroad tracks. If you see Bowleg Brigham walking the tracks looking down it’s because he is still looking for his gold.

THE GHOSTLY BUS CHILDREN SOUTH OF SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS
Railroad tracks throughout the world seem to be a hotspot for paranormal activity. Case example. Just south of San Antonio, Texas, in a neighborhood near the San Juan Mission, there is an intersection of roadway and railroad track that has become infamous and notorious in ghost legend. On this intersection, the legend goes that it was the site of an infamous tragedy. The legend is about 20 years old and the story is unfounded, making the story an urban legend. The story is retold and retold and various details change in the story. The basis of the story is that in the 1930s or 1940s a school bus full of children were heading down the road towards the ntersection. The bus gets stalled on the tracks and a speeding train smashes into the bus killing 10 children and the bus driver.

Since that horrible tragedy, any car stopped near the railroad tracks will be pushed by unseen hands across the tracks to safety. Legend has it that the ghostly children of that tragedy will push the cars across the tracks to keep the driver and passengers safe from any accident or tragedy. Now there are many people that flock to this site, to see if this legend is really true. Case example: The driver stops the cars some 20 to 30 yards from the tracks and places the car in neutral gear. Some even turn off their engines. And sure enough, even though it appears that the road is on an upward grade, the car begins to roll. It rolls slowly first, then steadily gaining speed -- seemingly of its own accord and against gravity -- up and over the tracks. This has been tested time and time again, and cars really do roll up and over the tracks -- every time. I wonder if this is like the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz in which steel balls will roll uphill, defying gravity? Also people will use talcum or baby powder to sprinkle over the car's trunk and rear bumper. They will see tiny fingerprints and hand prints that will appear in the powder. People believe they are seeing the hand prints of the ghost children pushing the car. There are many people who will attest that they are seeing the evidence of small children's hand prints in the powder.

THE SCRAGGLY WHITE CAT
Another case is at the railroad tracks on Big Horn Blvd (dead end road off Franklin Blvd) in Elk Grove, next to the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant at 8521 Laguna Station Road. I don’t know if the story is paranormal, but I do know that it’s somewhat frightening. Priscilla Jiron from San Jose was visiting friends and during dusk she walked out to the railroad tracks. Next to the railroad tracks is a large crooked tree. As Priscilla was standing underneath the tree, a scraggly pure white cat leaped off the branch of the tree and attacked Priscilla’s neck severely, leaving deep scratch marks on the back of her neck. When the cat jumped off Priscilla, it hissed loudly and vanished into the thickets. Priscilla to this day believes the cat to be something demonic in nature, she says it did not act like a normal cat.

THE HAUNTED ORIENT EXPRESS:
Here is an article that I wrote a few years back about the haunted Orient Express: http://forums.jazmaonline.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5227

GHOST TRAIN OF UTAH
The Ryan Family in the Summer of 1982 was camping out somewhere between Green River and Springville, Utah when they watched a slow moving train move along the train tracks. There was no sound from the train and the family thought this was odd. As they watched the silent train move along the tracks the air around the train seemed to gyrate. Glare from sun seemed to bounce off the gyrating air around the train and in just a blink of the eye, the train was no longer there. The family feels they witnessed a ghost train or some kind of train mirage.

9/27/2016 This night took Hi-Pee and Hannah to Big Horn Blvd (Dead End Street) for their walk, then took them to Redbox, McDonalds at Bruceville and Laguna Blvd and they did not have Deanna's frap, so I went to another McDonalds. Watched The Shallows tonight.
