My first experience with the paranormal was when I was 7 or 8 years old and I opened my eyes to see 3 shadowy figures standing on the right side of my bed looking down at me. I got the distinct feeling it was 2 men and a woman. I feel that the woman may have been my great grandmother who was a native American medicine woman in her village. I never knew her other than a picture of me as a toddler in her lap in a hospital bed just before she died, but I have always felt close to her.
My other experiences with the other side include some practical jokes involving my uncle who had recently passed away. Uncle Al used to love to joke around so it was obvious it was he who was turning my cell phone on at odd hours of the night about 2 weeks after he passed away. In one instance, I was suddenly wakened at exactly 4am one morning and as soon as I opened my eyes and looked at the clock my cell phone turned on by itself. This happened about 4 times during a week long period. I called the cell phone company to ask if it was normal for a cell phone to turn on by itself and the woman laughed and said no, they can turn off due to the battery dying but they do not turn on by themselves. I knew it was uncle Al, it was just like him to do something like that.
I don't recall at what age I began having occasional dream premonitions, but my most significant one came when I was a teenager in high school and I dreamt that my grandpa Bill was on the upper level of an apartment complex balcony and the railing at one end was missing and he was trying to fix it when he fell off the balcony. I instantly woke up and felt an urgency to go check on him. Fortunately my grandparents lived right around the corner from me at the time so I quickly dressed and ran over there to find my grandpa just finishing up his breakfast. He was getting ready to go up on the roof to fix the gutter around the edge of the mobile home they lived in. Because of my dream and the urgency in my voice, they both decided it was best that he didn't go up on the roof that day and I'm so glad he didn't because I am convinced he would have fallen. I've had other dream premonitions but none as significant as that one. Even as recent as today I had a dream that San Francisco is going to be flooded by tidal waves, I can only pray that doesn't happen.
One time I had something heavy weighing on my mind that I wanted to tell a friend but had been putting it off, not sure if I should say anything. Apparently my subconscious decided for me because one night I dreamt I was telling her what had been on my mind. The next day she called me and told me she was dreaming a normal dream when suddenly the background peeled away and I walked into her dream and told her I had to tell her something. She even described the picnic table we sat on as we talked, it was exactly the same! So now I am sometimes referred to as the Dream Walker or her Dream Girl.
I have also had dreams of UFO's and have seen 3 different shaped crafts; one triangular, one round and one in an octagon shape.
I also had a brief out of body experience that I brought on myself one night. I had read if you put yourself in a very relaxed state with arms to your sides and control your breathing, in the right environment you could have an out of body experience. One night in the mid 90's it finally happened. I remember going through my ceiling up to the roof of the building and I saw all the stars in the sky for a brief moment but then just as quickly I was pulled back into my body. The only way I can describe going back into my body was that it reminded me of a droplet of water dropping into a pool of water, how it goes down into the pool of water initially and then ripples back to the surface. It only lasted a few seconds but it was a beautiful experience I will never forget!

Laurie tells me that when her grandmother passed, she was visited by her grandmother. Laurie makes claim she is a sensitive and tells me that her father, a psychic told her that something bad was going to happen. A couple days later, her niece passed away. THE SHERRI ULMER STORY:
Sherri became interested in the paranormal when a friend of hers visited a castle in Europe. Her friend took a picture of the window of the castle and it had a strange white mist. As they researched the castle, they discovered the castle had high activity of strangeness. She had another friend that would tell her that she worked at an old folk's home and would witness objects moving around the home and the telephone would voluntarily on it's own come off the hook. At this old folk's home, apparitions of children in the hallway were always seen. The female former owner's apparition would also be seen roaming the hallway. Then Sherri had her own paranormal experience. A former home she lived in, the occupant passed away and this deceased occupant was seen numerous times in this former home.
