Roberts was born on January 17, 1955 in Fresno, California. He has an Associate Degree in Criminology. In 1977, Roberts for one year was a firefighter with the California Division of Forestry. Firefighting was not his cup of tea.

Military Career:
Roberts from 1973 to 1976 served with the US Army's D.S.T. (Drug Suppression Team) C.I.D. (Criminal Investigation Division) in Germany, working undercover narcotics. From 1979 to 1986 Roberts served in the US Army's Military Intelligence. Working at PIC-K (Photo Interpretation Center in Korea). Roberts held a Top Secret S.B.I. (Special Background Investigation) clearance as an Intelligence Analyst, later receiving an H-Identifier with OPFOR (Opposing Forces), where Roberts wore a Soviet uniform, ski mask and trained elite troops like US Army's Special Forces, 101st Airborne, Air Force Special Operations, Navy Seals, Army Rangers, Delta Force, 82nd 'Screaming Eagles' Airborne, Marine Recon the Soviet Threat and W.E.F.T. (Wings, Engine, Fuselage, Tail section) in identifying Soviet aircraft.

Dancing Career:
Roberts from 1976 to 1979 became involved in professional dancing and was a dance instructor for Arthur Murrays. Roberts danced with Jeff Kutache's Dancing Machine in Lake Tahoe and Reno. Roberts appeared as an extra in movies like Rollerboogie and Skatetown USA. Comic Book Career:
Roberts became involved in reviewing comic books and interviewing comic book creators for Jazma Online! Roberts published one comic book entitled The Legendary Dark Silhouette. Roberts also had a very popular newsletter called: Peoples' Comic Book Newsletter. Many university libraries - special collections have copies of this newsletter. Most notable comic book interview that I did was with William Shatner at the time he was publishing comic books.

Paranormal Investigator Career:
Roberts is the co-owner of HPI (Halo Paranormal Investigations). Roberts' wife Deanna Jaxine Stinson is the other co-owner of HPI.

Roberts in 2004 became a paranormal investigator and with over a two thousand investigations under his belt and over a two thousand paranormal articles he has written lead him to be in several documentaries. Roberts is also a Fortean investigator in which he investigates ALL things paranormal from Mothman, Chupacabra, UFOs, Crop Circles, Ghosts, Poltergeists, Demons and more. Significant investigations by HPI are the Skinwalker Ranch in Utah, Area 51, Wolf Creek Inn - Oregon, Lauren Willet - Charles Manson Clan Murder Case in Stockton, looking for Natalee Holloway's ghost in Aruba, UFOs and Bigfoot at Mount Shasta, UFOs and USOs at Monterey Bay. Investigations in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Panama, Prague - Czechoslovakia; Nicaragua, Costa Rica. In 2013, Roberts investigated Guatemala, Belize, El Salvadore. Roberts is an international traveler and has been to over 59 countries and territories. He has taken lessons flying a helicopter and Cessna airplane. He has taken lessons in skydiving. He has rappelled Moaning Caverns, rode on a hot air balloon along Napa Valley, flew in a glider along Calistoga. He has Para-sailed in Thailand.

PERSONAL LIFE:
Roberts in 2014, married Deanna Jaxine Stinson. Deanna is an author, paranormal investigator, psychic medium, tarot card reader and has a business in which she sells hand crafted jewelry.
Roberts has a daughter named Illi Anna Vega that lives in Arizona with her 5 children and 1 grandchild.
