Ghost hunters? How do U become 1?

I have always wanted to become a ghost hunter or Paranormal investigator? How does one officialy become one? I know you need the equipment and the knowledge about ghost/supernatural creatures! But what makes the true ghost hunter? Is it when you got proof of ghost?

Yes you do need the equipment and the knowledge other than that I don't know what else you would need. Many ghost hunters go for years with out seeing a ghost so it can't be that you need proof.

Thats a relief! I always thought you were an amatuer if you've never caught/seen a ghost and you were a proffesional if you did catch or see a ghost! Thanks for clarifying!
